Tobogganing in summer? Sure, of course! On the summer toboggan run in the Tennengau community of Abtenau, four days a week from May to October, you can quickly descend into the valley. The car is parked in the free parking lot directly at the valley station of the Karkogel cable car. The comfortable gondola lift takes you to the starting point of the alpine toboggan course in just a few minutes: here streamlined yellow summer toboggans await courageous riders!

From 07. July to 18. August 2022 tobogganing is not only possible during the day, but every Thursday from 18 p.m. until sunset!
Children up to 6 years of age and children with disabilities can experience the toboggan run together with an adult. Children aged 6 and over who are tall enough to apply the brakes are allowed to rush down the summer toboggan run alone with their own child seat. A seat belt is a must for big and small curve fans! The toboggan's centrifugal brake ensures that little racing drivers don't get too fast: The speed is automatically reduced to a maximum of 30 km / h.
After an employee of the Karkogel cable car has checked all harnesses and cleared the route, the starting point is 1.133 m and a total of 1.980 m towards the valley. Rapid curves, steep inclines, rapid tunnel passages and also fast shooting stretches - who still has time to enjoy the view? The goal is reached far too quickly! Now there is only one thing: into the mountain railway and up again on the Karkogel.
